What Is the SUFC Jersey Calcutta?

The SUFC Jersey Calcutta is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a celebration of our rugby heritage, camaraderie, and passion. Here’s how it works:

  1. Jersey Ownership: When you purchase a jersey, you become the proud owner of a specific jersey number across both the Men’s 1st XV (Shute Shield) and Women’s 1st XV (Sydney Women’s Premier Rugby). It’s a powerful symbol of unity, transcending gender and divisions.
  2. Best and Fairest Points: Throughout the playing season, each jersey number accumulates Best and Fairest points. These points reflect not only on-field performance but also sportsmanship, dedication, and teamwork.
  3. The Grand Reveal: At the end of the season (including finals), the jersey number with the highest Best and Fairest points will be crowned the winner of the Jersey Calcutta. It’s a thrilling race where every tackle, try, and scrum counts.
