As a little tribute to Dr Tooth, Theo Clark published a short video focusing on his rugby story. It’s taken from the film he made for the SUFC Wallaby Legends Lunch last year, along with some material that didn’t make the cut for that day, but which has been included in an extended version for the Tooth family.

In the video, Jim Boyce credits Dick Tooth’s coaching at SUFC with contributing a great deal to the winning edge of the Thornett Era Wallabies – giving them structure in the lineout and a powerful spirit of confidence – a belief that they could win. Given many say it was the Thornett Wallabies who really put us on the rugby map, that is a great accolade.

Peter Crittle thought he was the best coach he ever had.
