The Ken Catchpole Awards were held last night at the Boulevard Hotel.
The main award, the Ken Catchpole Medal is decided by 1st grade referees and opposing coaches who award points on a 3,2,1 basis each week during the regular season. West Harbour’s Tayler Adams was named the 2017 winner with a total of 55 points. Uni Captain Jake Wainwright came joint 7th with 25 points.
Tim Clements was shortlisted for the Rookie of the Year award which was awarded to Manly’s, Kevin Fuavao.
Christian Kagiassis finished second on leading points scorer ladder with 219 behind the Pirates, Tayler Adams.
