Waratahs prop Paddy Ryan has re-signed with the club for the next two years, keeping him at Moore Park until the end of 2018.
Ryan has played at the Waratahs since 2011, notching 75 caps for the club.
His re-signing comes off the back of some major front row news at the Waratahs, with Sekope Kepu returning to the club and Benn Robinson forced to call it quits.
Waratahs scrum coach Cam Blades said Ryan had shown his versatility in recent seasons, with an ability to play on both sides of the scrum.
“He made a good transition from tighthead to loosehead and has adapted well to becoming a regular starter this season,” he said.
“His dedication to improving his game is an indication of his professionalism. Together with the likes of Sekope Kepu, he will continue to be a positive mentor to many of the young Waratah front rowers.
Ryan grew up in Tamworth and has played all of his representative rugby with NSW.
