Today’s society is putting increasing amounts of pressure on Australian’s to own their own homes, live decadently and maintain financial stability amid a turbulent financial landscape; with pressure on financial institutions, increased costs of living, increased housing prices, increased interest rates, drought and longer life-spans. Mental illness rates are also increasing within Australia and financial instability and stress dramatically influence an individual’s mental health.
The Banksia Project is welcoming the entire community to their upcoming Garden Room on maintaining mental health and wellness amongst financial stress, to empower individuals with the knowledge, skills and practices to proactively manage their mental health and wellness. Hear from individuals with both lived experience and professional expertise on how to proactively and effectively manage your mental health throughout these challenging times.
