Todd Louden Joins as Head of Coaching

Returning to the SUFC family after an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Todd Louden is set to take the reins as our Head of Coaching. With an impressive track record of coaching success, including roles with the Pretoria based Bulls, Ricoh Black Rams in Japan, Melbourne Rebels and the Waratahs, Todd brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our club. 

In his new role, Todd will spearhead coaching efforts for our 1st-grade squad while also taking on the vital responsibility of nurturing and guiding our coaching staff in implementing a club-wide game model. This strategic move aims to elevate coaching standards across the board and provide enhanced coaching development opportunities throughout the club. Todd’s arrival heralds a new era of coaching excellence at SUFC.

 

Mike Stubbs Appointed as Elite Pathways Coordinator

We are delighted to introduce Mike Stubbs as our new Elite Pathways Coordinator, formerly known as the Director of Colts. Mike’s transition to this role signifies our unwavering commitment to creating a seamless pathway for both players and coaches, bridging the gap between our juniors and senior teams. 

Many within our community are already familiar with Mike’s outstanding work, particularly in the colts and women’s divisions. His dedication and vision will play a pivotal role in ensuring that SUFC maintains its position as a breeding ground for rugby talent and excellence.
