We have something a little different in store for our next home game as we head out to the country on Saturday 22nd April for the round 4 clash with Norths. All Grade teams will play at Eridge Park, the home of the Bowral Blacks.

The Grand Final rematch falls within School and University holidays and just before Anzac Day, this has provided us with the opportunity to take a fixture out to the bush, giving local supporters a terrific chance to watch a live game which they ordinarily would be unable to attend, as well giving our city folk the prefect excuse to escape to the country!

Head Coach, Tim Davidson shared his excitement about taking a game to the Bush.

“’We are thrilled to be able to play our Grand Final rematch against Norths in Bowral, it represents a great opportunity to connect with the Country community and showcase our great game in the bush.

“Norths have started where they left off last year and will be an extremely tough challenge. We are grateful that they have supported our initiative and look forward to doing battle with them in the country in round 4.”

“We would greatly appreciate any support as it represents a fantastic opportunity to get out into the fresh air and watch a high calibre game of Rugby. We hope to see you on the sidelines.” He said.

We are pleased to have Hume Coal as our match day sponsor for the Country Round. Ben Fitzsimmons of Hume Coal commented on the partnership. “Hume Coal is a proud sponsor of local sport. Since becoming involved with the Bowral Blacks, they have improved season after season and it is an honour to be a part of the Club’s journey. It is further testament to the Black’s success that SUFC has chosen Bowral as its home ground for the 2017 country round and we look forward to great day of rugby this April.”

SUFC will be holding a post-match function with Norths in the Bowral Clubhouse before heading to the Porterhouse, all supporters are welcome to join us.
