The hard work has paid off for Uni scrumhalf Jake Gordon, who made his Super Rugby debut off the bench for the Waratah’s on Saturday night against the Lion’s. Jake joined the Tah’s in South Africa on Friday, after a rolled ankle ruled Nick Phipps out. Unfortunately the score didn’t go the Tah’s way with the Lion’s claiming a comfortable 55-36 win. With Nick due back for their next game against the Sharks we hope Jake will continue to flourish and become a ripe contender for the No.9 jersey.

Congratulations also go to Matt Philip who scored his first Super Rugby try for the Western Force in their 22-6 victory over Queensland Reds.
