Wallabies scrumhalf Nick Phipps will captain the Aussies on Saturday, when they take on the Barbarians.

Phipps will lead a new-look backline at Allianz on Saturday, in the Wallabies’ second clash with the Barbarians on home soil. 

Michael Cheika has handed Karmichael Hunt an audition at fullback ahead of the Spring Tour, with the Reds player the front runner to fill that spot with Folau set to sit out the tour.

Folau will play his final match of 2017 where he began his Test career – on the wing – with Hunt at fullback and Duncan Paia’aua at flyhalf.Paia’aua will go head-to-head with his Reds teammate Quade Cooper, who is set to skipper the Barbarians, on Saturday.

Force centre Bill Meakes has been given a start at inside centre, in what will be a chance for him to push his Spring Tour credentials.

Both Rory Arnold and Allan Alaalatoa are in the mix to face off against their brothers on Saturday, with Richie in the Barbarians squad and the Crusaders’ Mike a late addition, after an injury to Sef Faagase.

The Wallabies take on the Barbarians on Saturday at Allianz Stadium, kicking off at 3pm AEDT LIVE on FOX SPORTS.
