Sydney University Football Club (SUFC) continues to support the Women’s program. In the recent NSW Waratahs Women’s Jersey Calcutta – SUFC secured the number 16 jersey. With several of their talented SUFC Lionesses playing at the hooker position, this was a golden opportunity to have an SUFC lioness don the jersey and be supported by the club.
For their round 1 clash, Siusiuosalafai (Nancy) Volkman proudly wore the coveted number 16 jersey. A proud member of our club and leading the way with their dedication and skill which exemplifies SUFC’s commitment to developing and empowering women in rugby.
Across Australia, SUFC boasts representatives in the SuperW squads, reinforcing their dedication to women’s rugby at all levels. 🏉🦁
