In 1972, Richard Edmonds played for Sydney University in the Shute Shield Grand Final against Gordon. The Students ran out 10-6 victors.
Now, 50-years on his grandson, Darcy Breen will be following tradition and facing off against the Stags in a Final. To top it off, the pair also play in the tight head prop position.
