Last weekend round 6, only 15 players have played all six matches. Of those, 10 are from our 1st XV. Them being, Brad Amituanai, Darcy Breen, Sam Cantwell, Eddy King, Jac Lloyd, Sepesi Loga -Tarogi, Jack McCalman, Connor O’Shea, Ed Scragg and Paddy Tagg.

And we have a couple of ironmen in 1sts forward pack, who haven’t missed the main game in last 49 and 40 straight games in Jack McCalman and Darcy Breen.

Also this season we have had 9 players make their debut at 3 o’clock. Of those 9 players, 4 scored in their first game of Shute Shield rugby. Those 4 are Kyle Bowen, Ronan Leahy, Joey Fowler, Tom Morrison. The other 5 players are Bryn Edwards, Jac Lloyd, Sione Harriss, Ed Scragg and Sam Cantwell.

While on games, the question was asked recently who has the most lower grade games and nil in 1st Grade. Well I thought “who has”. In fact there is 14 players who this feat belongs too. And the Winner is Jack Stanford on 122 lower grade games and zero main game run ons. Jack plays 123rd game this Saturday and leaves Nick Hagen on 122. Close were Joel Rivers 134 lower grade games and one 1st GG and Angus Dorney just made it on 101 lower grade games and also one 1st GG

Ed King scored a try on Saturday verses Easts and what a lot people at the ground didn’t know was it was his 80th career try since joining Uni back in Colts in 2016. He now has 402 career points.

Update this week Felipe Cordoba scored once more and is no 6 tries from 5 games.

And Jac Lloyd leads the club in most points with 35 so far.
