Did you know…

That the last time we beat Easts at home in all Grade and Colts games 19.7.2014. That particular weekend our 1st grade set a new club record score of 85-19 including 13 tries scored. It should be noted last Saturday 6 of out 7 teams earned a bonus point, with 2nds just missing out with 3 tries. The past 20 home games verses Easts back till 27.7.1999, we have beaten them 16 times.

Jac Lloyd scored another 13 points for us which took him pass his 100 Club points this season, now has 108 and is the only player to reach a century in the whole club. And is getting close to being the first Welshman to score 100 1st grade points, currently on 90. (Please correct me if there has been another Welshman before).

Being a very young club this year shows in the games played. With only three players who have over 50 1st grade games and futher eleven who have 50 or more club games.

At the moment in 1st grade three players are equal on six tries each, Henry Clunie-Ross, Eddy King and Simon Kennewell. Simon also has one in 2nd grade.

Two milestones this weekend at home with Darcy Breen and Theo Strang both reaching 50th 1st grade game. Darcy will also play his 50th Club game, as he has only ever played 1st XV.

Max Robson had to wait 3 games in 790’s but he got his 800 career points on Saturday with the last goal of the game, congratulations to Max.

We have spoken about James Widders – Leece a few times the past month. But he scored another 2 tries in 3rd grade which gives him 9 tries from the past 3 games and also brought up his 50 points this season. Jack Stanford said he has only run about 7 metres to score all them.

In Colts we have on the right wing Nacani Batidravu who with another 2 tries is now on 19 and is the leading try scorer in ANY club and ANY competition. And he’s probably not finished yet.
