That the last time David McDuling played in 2nd grade was 17.9.2010 in the Grand Final verses Warringah, which we lost 26-33. From then till last Saturday at Woollahra has been 2544 days ago that he ran on at 1.35pm. But this week may make him feel better as Dave plays his 100th grade game.
Similar story but not as long was Jack Sherratt playing his first lower grade game for the Club. Jack has played 1st Grade only since Round 1, 2018, some 27 straight games is finally broken, but not for long I would think.
Last Saturday was our 19th win in the past 23 matches against Easts going back to 23.5.2009 at No.1 Oval.
Another first for our number one side is Saturday was the first game they didn’t get a bonus point this season.
While our 3rd Grade had its first loss for ten weeks.
A few milestones were achieved at Woollahra Oval with Henry Clunies-Ross reaching 300 career points with a try in 2nds.
Hugh Summerhayes ran on for his 50th grade games on Saturday
Lincoln Whiteley pasted his personal best when he scored his 8th try this year. This breaks his 7 tries in Colts in 2016.
The Will Wennerbom fan club were up cheering him again with a further 23 points in 3rd and 4th Grade games. Will is now on 224 season points for 2019 and 619 career points. In fact, Will has scored in 13 of this seasons 14 games. At the moment he is the leading point scorer in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. His break down is 41 pts in 2nd Grade, 132 pts in 3rd Grade and 51 points in 4th Grade and just one more fact about young Will is he has scored 6 doubles so far this season.
In Colts, Max Robson scored 2 tries again and sits on 142 points and 16 tries, Eddie Poolman also got two tries and is right behind Max with 14 for season 2019. Maybe this week Max Sinclair will reach his 100. He is on 99 at the moment. Good Luck Max.
