Congratulations Christian Yassmin

Christian Yassmin (pictured above), who played in the wing for 1st Grade last weekend against Souths, is also performing remarkably off the field!

Christian recently completed his GAMSAT (all during his demanding rugby schedule, receiving an exceptional mark that should comfortably see him be accepted into his desired course of dentistry.

Congratulations Yassy!

SUFC to Tour Asia

SUFC are pleased to announce that this year they will be taking a team of players over to Asia for a High Performance Rugby tour, looking to commence in mid-November for a two week period.

The tour will see the boys travel to Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, playing against top league and club teams – which promises to provide some great rugby competition!

Article in Manly Daily

This year the coaching staff have enforced a number of expectations on player behaviours which aim to make our players not only more disciplined on the field but also better men off the field.

Although typically an assumption of our 1st Grade team, part of the new character based program has seen our coaches ensure that all players support the home team by attending their post-match speeches. Further to that, our SUFC 1st Grade Captain Tom Carter has often captivated opposition clubs with his humbling and sincere post game speech, thanking key club people and congratulating impressive performances when deserved.

As seen in the article below from the Manly Daily on Saturday, Warringah were particularly thankful of our attendance, and the speech from Mr Carter!
