NSW U20s coach Pat McCutcheon has named a strong side to play QLD U20s in a top of the table clash in Brisbane on Saturday.
With only two rounds remaining, a win for either side will likely secure top spot on the ladder at the end of the regular season and a home final.
McCutcheon said he’s expecting a fiery affair on Saturday.
“Any time NSW takes on Queensland you can expect the game to be very spirited and physical game and that’s what we’re expecting this weekend,” he said.
“Queensland on their home soil will certainly be tough but we are ready for the challenge.
“I was impressed by our team last weekend against the Brumbies where they were able to keep their composure right to the end. Our reserves also added loads of energy and stepped it up another level for us which shows the depth in the side,” he said.
