2020 Trial v Eastern Suburbs

The long awaited 2020 season is nearly upon us, with Round 1 on 18th July fast approaching we have scheduled a full club trial against Eastern JHU for the week before. Below are the match timings. 

Please note – Eastern Suburbs will be using the trial for their Bushfire Relief Fundraiser Round and there will be an entrance fee. 

The Bush Fires earlier this year devastated many communities and COVID 19 has slowed the opportunity for rebuilding, especially within the rugby community. The 3 Rugby Clubs most seriously affected were The Broulee Dolphins, Braidwood Redbacks & Batemans Bay Boars. Easts will be donating 100% of all the proceeds raised for this event to all 3 of these Rugby Clubs equally.

Easts Rugby are asking everyone, members, players, supporters, sponsors and guests to contribute $30 which goes directly to the Rugby Clubs affected upon entry for the trial game, Clubs helping Clubs.

There are no conditions on how the funds are spent, all money raised on the day will be divided by 3 and sent to each Club, it’s so important these communities are not forgotten, and we help the grassroots of our sport.
